These terms explain how renting a self-drive car from Insane Car Rental Goa works. The detailed terms for your booking are confirmed with you before the car is handed over.

01Driving licence & verification

• Every driver must hold a valid driving licence for the class of vehicle being rented.
• Valid photo ID and address proof may be requested at booking or at handover.
• The personal and contact details you give us must be accurate.
• The vehicle is handed over only after the required documents have been verified.

02Security deposit

• A refundable security deposit applies. The amount depends on the vehicle.
• The deposit is collected before or at the time of handover.
• It is refunded after the vehicle has been returned and inspected, less any damage, missing items, traffic penalties or other outstanding charges.

03Rental payment

• The rental amount is payable, as set out in your booking, before the vehicle is handed over.
• Any pickup or drop charges, the security deposit and other applicable charges are shared with you before your booking is confirmed.
• The final rental amount depends on the vehicle and the rental duration.

04Fuel

• The vehicle is provided with a specified fuel level and should be returned with the same agreed level.
• Any shortfall, and related fuel charges, may be deducted from the security deposit.

05Vehicle condition

• Please return the vehicle in substantially the same condition in which you received it.
• Existing scratches, dents, the fuel level and other relevant details are checked and recorded together at handover.
• Tell us immediately about any accident, damage, breakdown, warning light or mechanical problem.

06Damage & accidents

• You are responsible for damage to the vehicle during the rental period, as set out in the rental agreement.
• In the event of an accident, inform us immediately and cooperate with any required procedures.
• Intentional damage, negligent use, misuse or unauthorised use of the vehicle may result in additional charges.

07Traffic fines & penalties

• Traffic, parking and toll-related fines, and any other penalties incurred during your rental, are your responsibility.
• An administrative charge may also apply where required.

08Extending your rental

• To extend your rental, contact us before the originally agreed return time.
• Extensions are subject to vehicle availability.
• The extended period is charged additionally.

09Late return

• Please return the vehicle at the agreed date and time.
• Late returns may attract additional charges depending on the length of the delay.
• Where the vehicle is needed for another confirmed booking, returning it on time is essential.

10Pickup & drop

• Pickup and drop-off may be available depending on the location.
• Additional charges may apply depending on the location and timing.
• Airport and outstation pickup or drop charges are shown separately where applicable.

11Permitted use

• The vehicle may be used only for lawful purposes and on permitted roads.
• It must not be used for racing, speed testing or off-road driving (unless permitted for that vehicle), or for any illegal activity.
• It must not be sub-rented or handed over to another person without our prior permission.

12Prohibited use

The vehicle must not be used for:

• racing or speed competitions
• reckless or dangerous driving
• any illegal activity
• driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• commercial passenger transport without our permission
• any use likely to cause unreasonable damage to the vehicle

13Cancellation & refunds

Cancellation and refund terms may vary with the booking, the rental duration, the vehicle category and when the cancellation is made. The terms that apply to your booking are confirmed with you at the time of booking.

14Vehicle availability

• All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.
• If your selected vehicle becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we may offer a similar or alternative vehicle where possible.
• Photos on this website represent the model or category. The exact colour and registration of your vehicle may differ.

15Your responsibility

Please take reasonable care of the vehicle throughout the rental period and return it on time and in the agreed condition.
